Ett enkelt födelsedagskort med Reprints fina papper och klippark! Det rosa prickigt är en riktig favorit (man tröttnar ju aldrig på prickigt!) och bilden med de söta barnen kommer från ett av hörnen på att av Reprints stora designark. Blomman är urklippt från en etikett på ett klippark.
A simple birthday card using Reprint's own papers! The dotted pink paper is a favorite (one just can't get enough of dotted papers, right?) and the image of the sweet children is from a corner of one of Reprint's full size (12 inches) design papers. The flower is from a vintage label cut-out sheet.
Stämpeln är stämplad med svart Versa fine, den bästa dynan för textstämplar eftersom den får med alla detaljer. Det lilla hjärtat är imålat med en Distress marker och sen lite Stickles ovanpå det."Bannern" är fäst med 3D-kuddar för att få lite distans.
I stamped using black Versa fine, the very best stamp pad for texts since it brings out the details in such a good way. The tiny heart is colored with a Distress marker and then some stickles. The banner is then attached using foam squares to get a little dimension.
Den urklippta blomdekorationen är även den fäst med 3D-kuddar.
The fuzzy cut flower pot is also attached using foam squares.

Dessa supersöta kaffemuggar är designade av Anette Blåberg, som en del i hennes serie med trädgårdsstämplar. De sitter ihop på rad, men kan förstås klippas isär och användas en och en. Jag har stämplat dem på vitt papper och färglagt lite svagt med Distressdynor och vattenpensel. Pappret är klippt i vimpelform och monterat med 3D-kuddar ovanpå en collagestämpel med kaffetema.
These sweet coffee mugs are designed by Anette Blåberg, as part of her garden stamp collection. They are attached in a row, but you could easily cut them apart and use them separately. I stamped them on white cardstock and coloured them in just slightly using my Distress ink pads and a water brush. The paper was then cut into a banner shape and adhered using foam squares on top of a coffee themed collage stamp.

The dotted paper is the back of one of the new papers from Reprint. You can see this one and all of the other news at the wholesale exhibition Formex later this fall. Another new item is the paper leaf, which goes perfectly with the paper roses - simply adorable!

Här är en rolig teknik som går att variera i det oändliga, beroende på vilka stämplar och färger man väljer. Jag har först stämplat och embossat bakgrundsstämpeln (som denna gången råkar vara en text) med Clear embossingpulver. Eftersom pappret är vitt så behåller det stämplade motivet sin vita färg även efter att jag färgat in pappret med distressdynor och stämplat med ytterligare ett motiv. Genom att dra en fuktig trasa försiktigt över det embossade motivet när man är klar så får man bort eventuella färgrester som kan finnas kvar ovanpå.
This is neat technique that will give completely different results based on the choice of stamps and colours. First, stamp and emboss a background stamp with Clear embossing powder. In this case, I used a sentiment as the background. Since the paper is white, the stamp will stay white even after I add colours using Distress ink pads and other stamps on top. Remove any ink residues by carefully swiping a damp cloth over the embossed area.
Det blir en fin 3D-effekt när bakgrundsstämpeln träder fram genom de andra stämpelmotiven. Jag har stämplat blomman med distressdyna (Chipped Sapphire) ovanpå embossingen. På den kartongfärgade kortbasen har jag stämplat samma blomstämpel med den i mitt tycke kanske bästa vita stämpeldynan, Brilliance Moonlight White.
Love the 3D-effect of the background stamp peaking through the other stamped images. I stamped the flower using a Distress ink pad (Chipped Sapphire) over the embossed image. I used the best, in my humble opinion, white ink pad on the kraft coloured card base - Brilliance Moonlight White.

Fyller på lagret av bra-att-ha kort, eftersom dessa ständigt verkar saknas i sortimentet :) Här är ett kort med en kram-hälsning, helt klart bra att ha till hands! Pappret är ett av Reprints egna helt underbara dubbelsidiga. Eftersom jag hade svårt att välja vilken sida jag skulle visa upp så delade jag pappret och vände på den ena panelen. En zig-zag söm binder ihop dem.
I am out of stock of those useful cards for random usage. Here's one for sending someone a hug, which should absolutely come in handy! :) The paper is one of Reprint's own double sided designs. Since I couldn't make up my mind on what side to show, I divided the paper in two panels and turned the other side up on one of them. A zig zag stich joins them together.

På en scrapträff med Viktoria och Madde häromsistens så hade vi den fjärde medlemmen i gänget med emellanåt via Skype. Tur att man kan lita på tekniken vid sådana viktiga tillfällen! Marie, som var många mil bort från oss, gav oss en utmaning: skapa ett alster med bara svart och vitt. Jag gjorde ett kort, med struktur av texture paste över en stencil och sedan lite svarta färgstänk.
On a crop a while ago with Viktoria and Madde, the fourth member of the gang joined us now and then over Skype. Amazing to have the technology doing it's magic at importance occasions like this! Marie, being many miles away from the rest of us, gave us a challenge: create something using only black and white. I pulled out a stencil, some texture paste and then a little black paint for splashing. Liking how it turned out!
Här ser man strukturen lite bättre, inte så lätt att fota vitt-på-vitt effekten!

Ett enkelt mönster av kvadrater med rundade hörn, monterade med 3D-kuddar som bygger på höjden. Reprints mönstrade papper har både vackra fram- och baksidor, så det är bara att välja vilken sida man vill visa.
A simple pattern of squares with rounded corners, attached using foam squared for some depth. The design papers from Reprint has beautiful front- and back sides, so there's plenty of designs to choose from.
Texten är från ett av trädgårdsstämpelseten designade av Anette Blåberg. Jag har klippt ut det stämplade motivet i formen av en banner, och längs kortets vikning hänger ett tunt sidenband, med två charms i form av hjärtan dinglandes i varsin ände.
The sentiment is from one of the garden themed stamp sets designed by Anette Blåberg. The text is cut out like a banner and adhered using double sided tape and also foam squares to get the far end in the same height as the rest of the banner. There's a thin silk ribbon along the card fold, with two silver hearts dangling from each end.

I ett anfall av mixed media inspiration skapade jag detta kort för en tävling hos Inzpira. Det gick nu inte så bra i den tävlingen, men vad gör väl det? Jag gillar kortet massor, förhoppningsvis gör mottagaren det också! :)
This card was created in a sudden mixed-media frenzy, for a challenge at Inzpira. It didn't appeal to the judges, apparently, but hopefully the receiver of the card will love it as much as I do. :)
Lager på lager av papper, och gesso på toppen. Även blommor och band blev inlimmade och överfärgade.
Layers on top of layers, and gesso on the top. The flowers and ribbon also gor glued down and gessoed over.

Om man har turen att bli hembjuden på en härlig middag en varm sommarkväll så kan det vara trevligt att ha med en flaska gott till värdinnan. Lite roligare blir det förstås med en flasktag att hänga på! Här fick båda värdinnorna varsin flaska, med tags som är lika men ändå olika.
If you are fortunate enough to get invited for a summer party, you might bring a bottle of something for the hostess. And it's so much more fun if it is decorated with a tag! Here, both of the hostesses got a bottle each, with tags that are somewhat same, same, but different.
Enkelt med en bit cardstock, en färdig tag från ett klippark och några blommor som dekoration.
Easy to do with a piece of cardstock, a ready made tag from a cut out sheet, and a few flowers as decorations.
Lite bling som gnistrar ikapp med solen, rhinestones och en pin!

Min lilla mamma har fyllt år och firades bland annat med ett grattiskort. Den fina stämpeln hamnade på en egen panel, fäst med 3D kuddar över bakgrundspappret med svalor från Reprints egen serie. En rosett, några blommor och det är allt som behövs!
A birthday card for my sweet mother. I just love the stamp with all the birthday related sentiments, for this card I stamped on a separate panel, on a distance from the background paper using foam squares. The paper is from Reprint's own collection, so beautiful with the almost transparent image of the swallows.
Några blommor arrangerade som en liten bukett, med organzaband i rosett ovanpå ett crèmefärgat Crispy band.
A few flowers arranged as a bouquet, with an organza bow on top of a beige Crispy ribbon.

Det är alltid bra att ha några kort på lut i byrålådan för akuta behov. Här är ett sådant, med en enkel tack-hälsning på insidan. Kortbasen är ett craft cardstock, och jag har byggt med både färg, stämplar och dekorationer direkt på basen.
It's always good to have a few ready-made cards in the drawer, just in case. Here's one of mine, with a simple thank you sentiment on the inside of the card. The card base is from a craft cardstock, and the paint, stamps and decorations are right on the base.
De färdiga tagsen från Reprints egna klippark är så fina och användbara. Här valde jag en tag som plockade upp färgerna från bakgrundspappret. Blommorna har fått en liten smula vit gesso över sig. Tanken är att de ska se lite shabby chic ut, men jag tycker kanske att det ser mer ut som snö?
The ready made tag sheets from Reprint's own collection are so useful and versatile. Here I picked a tag that matched well with the colours of the paper I chose. The flowers got just a hint of white gesso brushed on them, with the intention to create a shabby chic look. But maybe it looks more like snow?
Baksidan går i samma stil. Det är så enkelt att bara stryka ut lite gesso med ett gammalt kreditkort eller visitkort, stämpla lite och på med en bit papper och kanske en blomma. Klart!
The back of the card picks up the same style as the front. It's so easy to just brush out some gesso using an old credit card or alike. A few stamps, a piece of paper and a flower and you're good to go!

På insidan har jag stämplat en hälsning, och på kanterna av pappret har jag återanvänt samma stämplar som jag använde på framsidan, men här stämplade i en ljusare nyans.
The inside is sparsely decorated, just a sentiment in the center and a stamp to define the edges. I used a much softer stamp pad for the inside, just to give some texture.
