Trio in gold

Idag visar jag en liten trio av bra-att-ha-kort med guldtema. Jag rotade lite i lådorna och hittade fina spillbitar som jag gärna ville använda, så formatet fick bestämmas av storleken på tillgängligt material. Korten är ca 8,5 x 15,5 cm.

Today I am showing you a small trio of useful cards with a golden theme. I digged around in the drawers and found some really nice scraps of design paper and decided to let the available material decide the shape and form of these cards. They are quite small, 8,5 x 15,5 cm.
 

Varje kort har en ljus kortbas, sedan ett härligt mönstrat papper från Webster's Pages på en chokladbrun matta av cardstock.

Every card has the same light card base, and on top of that a beautiful paper from Webster's Pages, mounted on a chocolate coloured cardstock mat.

Själva motivet är stämplat och embossat i guld på vellum, fäst med washitape på ett ljust mönstrat papper, det råkar faktiskt vara "framsidan" till det mörkare mönstrade pappret! Det ljusa mönsterpappret är fäst med 3D-kuddar för att få lite djup.

The stamp is embossed in gold on a piece of patterned vellum, and adhered on a piece of light, patterned paper using a piece of gold-coloured washi-tape. The patterned paper is actually the "front page" of the same paper from Webster's Pages! I used foam squares when I attached it, to get some depth.

Jag har även färgat in en bit rosenband med All-purpose ink, en härlig färg som heter Vegas gold. Bandet är sedan fastsytt med en raksöm.

I coloured a piece of rose ribbon using All-purpose ink, in a gorgeous and sparkly colour named Vegas gold. I used my sewing machine to stitch the ribbon to the card.
