Happy, happy!

En härlig födelsedagshälsning i rosa och guld, där jag har stämplat och embossat på vellum. Det enda knepiga med vellum är hur man fäster det utan att det syns igenom. Här har jag löst det genom att helt enkelt sy fast det på mönsterpappret.

Today's card is a birthday wish in pink and gold, with the sentiment stamped on vellum. One of the tricky things with vellum is how to adhere it without the adhesive showing through. On this card, I solved it by using my sewing machine and adding a simple stitch.

Att embossa på vellum blir liksom extra läckert, dessutom är det ett bra sätt att förhindra att stämpelmotivet smetas ut. Vellum har en glatt yta, så om man inte embossar så måste man använda en dyna som fäster på glatta ytor, exempelvis Staz-on.

The effect of heat embossing on vellum is really cool, and in addition it's a great way of making sure the stamped image doesn't smear. If you're not embossing, then make sure you use a stamp pad that works on smooth and glossy surfaces, like Staz-on.
