On the retail get-together last weekend, we tried a few different ways of decorating the new paper bags that Reprint just got into the store. Creativity flowed, and we got to see a few variations of these bags, that served as inspiration for the class.
Att stämpla direkt på påsarna går väldigt bra. Ytan är slät och lite glatt, men tillräckligt sträva för att stämpelavtrycken inte ska smeta ut. Här har jag stämplat med en textstämpel i en ljus nyans av Distress ink, och en blomma i en lite mörkare. Ovanpå sitter en tag, med ett stämpeltryck som är gjort med Mementopennor för att få olika färg på olika delar av motivet.
Stamping directly onto the bags works perfectly. The surface is smooth and slick, but rough enough to allow the ink not to smear. Here I used a light Distress ink pad for the background text, and a darker onw for the flower. On top I placed a cut-out tag and a stamped image made with the Memento pens which works great when you want to use different colours on different parts of the stamp.
Denna påse har ett litet titthål, utstansat med hjälp av Sizzix Big shot. I fönstret fäste vi en bit Acetate, och runt kanten fästes en ram av en kakservett. För att försluta påsen gjorde vi egna påsklämmor, med hjälp av ståltråd och washitape. Lite pillrigt att få ståltråden att ligga rakt, så här rekommenderas att ta hjälp av en kompis!
This bag has a peep-hole so you can see those goodies hiding inside. The hole is made using a die in the Sizzix Big shot and on the inside we attached a peice of acetate. The edge is from a doily. We made our own paper clips using a piece of wire and washi tape. It's quite tricky to get that wire to lay flat, so a bit of cooperation with a friend is required!
The bags can also be run through the Big shot in an embossing folder. The impression is really great.
